One of our Part-time Video Game Faculty:
Tom Sloper
has been a
game producer and designer for over 25 years,
having designed and
produced games for consoles from the
2600 and Vectrex to the
Playstation and Dreamcast,
as well as games for PC, Mac, Internet, and
IPTV.
He's worked for Sega, Atari, Activision, and Yahoo.
Now an
author, speaker, and game development consultant,
he's contributed to
several books on games and the industry,
and has spoken at GDC, SGS,
MGS, KGC, SIGGRAPH, and the Smithsonian.
Tom teaches ITP-391 Designing and Producing Video Games

One of our Part-time 3D Animation Faculty:
Jason Scott is currently a trainer at DreamWorks Animation SKG,
focusing on areas of lighting, compositing, and texturing. He
graduated from USC in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Compuer
Science and a minor in Cinema-Television, as well as ITP certificates
in 3D Animation and Special Effects, and in Interactive Multimedia
Development. Prior to his time at DreamWorks Animation, he worked at
Stan Winston Digital on "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" and
"Garfield the Movie", and also worked as a freelance visual effects
supervisor on music videos and commercials. He is a past officer of
the Los Angeles Professional Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH, and currently
serves as the advisor to the USC Student Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH.
